Basque Federation Award for the promotion of basque language
The Kukuxumusu Drawing Factory last Friday received the Federation Award for the promotion and support of the Basque Language which is conceded by the Retail Federation of Commerce and Services in the Basque Province of Alava. Kukuxumusu make daily use of the Basque language both in their store in the Alava capital of Vitoria and in their own central headquarters.
The general manager of Kukuxumusu, Koldo Aiestaran, was handed the award by the Mayor of Vitoria, Patxi Lacoz and he expressed his thanks while adding that “Kukuxumusu has always made use of the Basque language from the very early days of the firm in a natural form and he expressed the hope that this would continue in the future.”
The event, attended by diverse authorities from the Avila capital, took place in the Villa Suso Palace in Vitoria-Gasteiz and, in addition to Kukuxumusu, four other firms and institutions were also conceded the award: Landher Montaña (Conciliation), Bacalao Giraldo (Business trajectory), José Antonio Merino (Innovation) and the Alava Local Government (Supporting the sector).
