Mr. Testis, the Kukuxumusu blue bull, is a born party-goer and he also likes all kinds of sports and so this happy combination could not be ignored at the 2010 edition of the Skate Birra in Zarautz, which manages to combine both things. The event is organized by the 310 collective each month of April.

This race started up three years ago when a group of friends, during the Beer Fair being held that year in Zarautz, decided to use their skateboards to go down the promenade of this seaside town to get to the beer tent in the quickest way possible. The idea immediately caught on and now each year more and more people are dressing up with evermore sophisticated fancy dress and racing themselves and their skateboards along the length of the long promenade.

Mr. Testis has never missed this annual event and he joined many other skateboarders as they showed their flair and they also showed how to manage the many falls that take place.

Both the winner of the race and the best dressed fancy dress competitor each come away with a skateboard as their prize. Have a look at the video and you’ll get an idea of what went on in Zarautz. For sure, next year there will be even more and even better fun.
