The footballer, Moyá, and the Sweet California put on the satchel, “Ayuda en Acción” (Action Aid) designed by Kukuxumusu

There is no stopping the “Action Aid” solidarity satchel designed by Kukuxumusu. It has now become part of the solidarity campaign of the Atlético Madrid football club Foundation. And to promote it, the football club have made use of one of their most charismatic players, goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Moyá. This well-known sportsman from Mallorca, has recently made a video which will be broadcast on the video screens inside the Vicente Calderón club stadium, this coming Saturday, 12th of September, during the big soccer game between Atlético Madrid F.C. V. Barcelona F.C.
On the official Facebook page of the Madrid club, Moyá himself admits that he really enjoyed making the video with a party of young children. He stresses the fact that, although he has been the protagonist on this occasion, he is representing all his team mates in this solidarity video.
We don’t know why this particular player was chosen to make the video – although it is not really surprising given his splendid build and his natural ability for communication. He manages to transmit a certain confidence and trust –although the video manages to come across, above all, with a keen sense of humor. The moment of ‘barra de pan’ (‘bread loaf’) shouldn’t be missed! We certainly hope that this time the supporters of both teams, the striped reds and the striped blues, will come together to mutually collaborate in the solidarity campaign, by also putting on the satchel.
Moyá, the footballer, is not the only famous personality to become implicated in this campaign that aims to fight against child poverty and to create equal opportunities for all children. Just a few weeks ago we had the opportunity of seeing the three singers from Sweet California, Alba, Rocío and Sonia, urging their fans to buy the satchels in a short video. Others to participate in this campaign include Ruth Lorenzo, Paula Rojo, David Otero “El Pescao”, Suso Jones, Shaila Dúrcal and Bibiana and Aaron.
The satchel costs 6 euros, and outlined below are some outlets where you can find the satchel for sale. Until the 7th of October, you can find the four models on sale at the Lidl supermarket chain. All funds collected will to financing school material grants as part of the aid program for school kids which is being developed by Ayuda en Acción throughout Spain. Furthermore, the yellow version, which is a special edition, is being distributed in Post Office branches all over Spain just until the 7th of October, and the aim in this case is to collect funds to finance school canteens as part of the same program.
However, if you never need to find yourself in supermarkets nor never have any occasion to visit a post office, you can also get a satchel through the web page: www.lamochilapraconocermundo.org, while stocks last! In this case, the funds collected from online sales will go towards children aid projects which Ayuda en Acción has started in a total of 22 different countries, including Spain.
Later on, we will come back to this theme and relate some anecdotes about the four drawings which have been created for each satchel by Kukuxumusu, in relation to the characters and the well-travelled animals.
