20.000 caps against cancer in children
Just some three months after the launch of the campaign under the slogan “Ponte la gorra“, the Afanoc Association, which works in support of children who suffer from cancer, has sold 20.000 units of this garment which was designed by Kukuxumusu.
The aim of the campaign in this, its thirteenth edition, is to make people aware about cancer in children, and to that end the NGO is selling caps to gather funds to help it carry out its work. The concept behind this current campaign is to send out a positive and optimistic message when it comes to confronting this illness.
The next event will take place next 15th of February in Lleida, with a day-long celebration with lots of different activities planned throughout the day. Later on, the campaign will be brought to a close at Port Aventura Leisure Center, so that there is still time to increase on the number of caps being sold. In addition, the campaign is finding large support across the social networks.
The cap may be obtained at the branches of the Afanoc located around Cataluña at a price of 5 euros, while the NGO also offers other means of collaboration with this campaign which can be checked out on their web page.
