At Kukuxumusu we have designed the technical t-shirt Tattoopassion in San Fermín red for those that are up for runnning in the bull run with it on. It has been made in Barcelona by the SportHG brand, with anti-perspiration, anti-heat and anti-odour fabric. For runners that are planning to wolf down a typical breakfast of fried eggs with txistorra and hot chocolate with churros straight after.

The situation is that we have been run ragged for the past few months because we wanted to get together with SportHG, a very cool Catalan outdoors brand, that produces t-shirts, leggings, hair bands, socks, and all really technical stuff for doing sports.

In the end we got it together with SportHG. On our first date we designed the Tattoopassion t-shirt, which is manufactured with Climatherm, a kind of thread that allows for heat regulation, quick perspiration absorbency, and which eliminates body odour. And that’s just the start of it.

SportHG has over twenty years of experience manufacturing technical sportswear. It also sponsors various event, including the Transgrancanaria trail race, which is a dream for professional trail runners, and the Penyagolosa Trails, in Castellón, which next year will host the World Trail Championships, from 10th to 13th May 2018.

For those that have no idea what trail running is, it is a demanding sport which consists in running, for example, 265 kilometres up hill and down dale, over mountains, through streams, and across all kinds of geographical features. Just a quick look at the images of the scenery from some of these trials is enough to grasp an idea of how much effort and preparation they require.

In 2017, the winner of the World Trail Running Championships was a Burgos local, Luis Alberto Hernando: who was the quickest to cover 48.7 kilometres with 2,999 metres of gradient. For women, another Spaniard, Laia Cañes, who is part of the team sponsored by SportHG, came in at fifth place.

Fans of Kukuxumusu that are runners, and those that aren’t so into running, you are going to love the collection we are preparing alongside SportHG.
