Kukuxumusu sketches some Basque Tourism promotions
We have been working for more than a year with Basquetour and, if the necessary time and the necessary authorities permit it, we will continue to work on this theme of tourism because as long as they go along with it, we will go along with it. (For anyone not in the know, Basquetour is a public entity set up by the Basque government whose object is to create a competitive strategy for tourism in the Basque country).
We first started back at the end of 2013 with the design of an ikurriña flag formed by typical Basque emblems, representative of the different products and tourist resources to be found in the Basque country. We also worked on publicity stuff for the press and billboards as well as Internet banners and the web site viajaraeuskadi.es.
In 2014 and 2015 we continue to work on some new themes such as a campaign for the region of Aquitania so as to help promote tourism of our French neighbors and to encourage them to cross over the frontier – including with a coach all marked out- the image that the institution went with to the II Bandera Euskadi Basque Country, celebrated in Barcelona. We also created a cool fencing display just beside the Kursaal building and the most recent thing of all has been the creation of a dossier in 5 languages which will be used by the Communications Department of Basquetour in order to display Euskadi (Basque Region).
