Kukuxumusu designs T-shirts for the Mardi Gras
The next Mardi Gras carnival in Nueva Orleans will have T-shirts designed by Kukuxumusu and made in The USA. The Cajun International Airways has already issued fifteen different models for sale with drawings from Kukuxumusu for Mardi Gras 2014. The T-shirts are available in three different colors, white, and yellow and violet and are sold in both ladies’ and men’s sizes. This annual carnival party is the most famous in the world and it will take place from next 3rd of February until the 9th of March.
Mardi Gras has been twinned with Sanfermin.com within the initiative known as Jai Day and which aims to share Pamplona’s Sanfermin with other famous fiestas that are as famed for their fun-loving party scene as Iruñea/Pamplona is in July.
The Kukuxumusu drawings for this particular collection recreate characters and customs from Nueva Orleans and they bring together such things as The Harlequin, the trinkets which are worn by the people and then thrown around, the typical balcony found in Bourbon Street, The King of the Fiesta and the alligators from the Everglades, all drawn in different compositions. All the models are available for $25 dollars at the Online store of Cajun International Airways and it is expected that they will also be on sale in the small outlets and stores located within the area.
