A poster for the fiestas of Sant Joan Despí
Kukuxumusu has designed the festival poster of Sant Joan Despí, a town in the Bajo Llobregat area with a population of some 32.000 inhabitants. The festival opens today and it will go on until the 26th of June.
The poster from The Drawing Factory combines, with its characteristic singular style, festive elements along with symbols that represent this locality such as its modernist buildings such as Can Negre (from Josep M. Jujol) and the Torre de la Creu or Torre dels Ous (‘The Egg Tower’)), the Llobregat river and the giant figurines from this municipality as well as the Correfoc.
In addition to the official poster, this drawing from Kukuxumusu will also go on other urban supports as well as billboards and on 13.000 hand-size programs which will be handed out over the fiestas days to give information on the different events that have been organized for the fiestas.
